The common production problem and analysis of die-casting moulds

The reason of molten metal splash during die casting
1. fixed die close imprecisely, with big gap. 
2. The mould clamming force is not enough.
3. The die casting machine is flexible ,and the mounting plate of cover half(fixed die) is not parallel.
4. Support span is large, and the injection pressure(force) bring about the cleading deformation , engendering molten metal spouting .
methods of adjustment
1. reinstall the mould
2. increase the mould clamming force
3. adjust the die-casting machine, ensure the mounting plate of fixed die(cover half) and moving die maintain mutual parallel。
4. Add support plate on the movable mould, increase the stiffness of the cleading.
The factors influencing the working life of the pressure nozzle are as below:  
1. The material and quality of the nozzle
2. The fit clearance of the press charging barrel and nozzle
3. The concentricity of the mould and press charging barrel while installing
4. Cooling problem
5. Select and use the superior nozzle lubrication etc.
Defect name: Surface wrinkling of the product
(1) The irregular folds emerging on the surface of product, mainly on the thinner wall.
Small aluminium granule can be seen.
Reason: Due to suction of the release agent or compressed air, the air pressure sealed in the forepart becomes high and ejects the surface of the product, resulting in this phenomenon.
olution: Exhaust thorough, eliminate the extra mold lubricant and adjust the position of the high speed high pressure to prevent the solution cooling down.   
Defect name: wrinkle(2)
Symptom: the cylinder part around the insert with surface membrana demalis crumpling up, it is different according to the occurring condition.
Near the corner of the insert, the wrinkle is parallel with the insert. On the place a little far away from the corner, there is aluminium granule gathered on the surface membrana demalis, attached to the surface in the form of powder, you can see the concave-convex caused by the wrinkle, the little aluminium granule is imbedded into the wrinkle after crushed.
Reason: when die casting with the low temperature of the mould is easy to occur this, the molten aluminum flowing in the passageway the forepart cooled and form oxide membrana demalis, then occur solidification at the tuber further as due to the high pressure appearing wrinkle on the surface.
Solution: preheat of the mould and produce under the setting ting temperature, should control the temperature of the mold in appropriate scope.
Exchange the guide pillar or guide sleeve should notice the change in the size, especially the mould that is used for a long time without tempering or measured including the mould plate parallel, straightness, change of internal and external diameter. Normally the reference dimension will change.
There is no hard sport on Zink die pressed casting blank, but when polish before electroplating, the hard spot occur. What’s up?
